His grace is leading us by His Holy Spirit:
"This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh." (Galatians 5: 16)
How do we know that we are led by the Spirit of God? When we know who we are in Christ:
"For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God." (Romans 8: 14)
By faith we are made the sons of God (1 John 3: 1)
We have received a new heart (Hebrews 8: 10-12), we have received the Spirit of Adoption (Romans 8:15).
We are in the Kingdom of Heaven, where righteousness, peace, and joy live in us through the Holy Spirit (Romans 14: 17)
This peace is what leads us in all our dealings on this earth:
"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." (Colossians 3: 15)
and
"Let us therefore follow after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another." (Romans 14: 19)
We need never worry about doing something that will displease God, and therefore we need never be fearful in doing something, that we may do something wrong.
As we rest in Him, his grace flows through us:
"For the grace of God that
bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,
"Teaching us that, denying
ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly,
in this present world;
"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
"Who gave
himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto
himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works." (Titus 2: 11-14)
It is
the grace of God that helps us to live righteously, Beloved!
