He Surrounds Us With Himself

 "For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

Jesus is grace and truth personified.

"For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)

When we receive believe in the perfect sacrifice that Jesus accomplished on the Cross, that He was made sin for us, that we would become THE righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:21)

Now, let's take a look at the verse from Psalm 5.

God compasses us with favor. He surrounds us with Favor.

In other words, God the Father surrounds us with His Son!

This revelation is consistent with New Testatment Truth:

"To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:" (Colossians 1:27)

and

"Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily." (Colossians 1:29)

And let's not forget Jesus' great promise in His highly priestly prayer, before He was crucified:

"I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." (John 17:23)

We are in Christ, Beloved brothers and sisters! We need to medidate and receive this revelation more and more every day!
