We Do Know His Name, and His Name is SAVIOR!

"Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?" (Proverbs 30: 4)

Who is this Man who has ascended and descended?

His name is Jesus!

"No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven--the Son of Man." (John 3: 13)

and

"No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven--the Son of Man." (Ephesians 4: 8)

Who has gathered the win His fists?

God the Father!

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Genesis 1: 1)

He created it, and through His Son, He holds all creation:

"Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: 16For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: 17And he is before all things, and by him all things consist." (Colossians 1: 15-17)

Notice that Jesus is forever tied, united, identified with His Father:

"I and my Father are one." (John 10: 30)

The writer of Proverbs wanted to know His Son's name.

We know His Name! JESUS!

"And, behold, you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS." (Luke 1: 31)

So, we know His name.

Let us now call on His name!

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." (Romans 10: 13)
